walkabout
Ok - I'm now officially walking.I've been taking a few little stes more and more commonly, but Mum and Dad finally gave me "walking" when I managed to take 19 steps last night when I walked across the room between them. We all thought it was brilliant and everyone cheered!
Mum seems in two minds though - I can tell she's excited that I'm walking around, but I've also overheard her saying something about me only being 10 and a half months and that she should have at least another 6 weeks before she has to deal with me getting more and more mobile. Personally, I don't know why she's concerned - now that I'm walking I can help out more around the house - I can find my way into all the rooms, and instead of just sitting on the floor playing with my toys, I can follow her around the house just in case she needs me for anything.
